Racing Women Takes on the Javelin Sprint Series 2026
Blyton Park, UK | April 2026
The 2026 Javelin Sprint Series has brought another exciting opportunity for Racing Women drivers to experience competitive motorsport, develop their racecraft and put their skills to the test against the clock.
With a series of events across UK circuits, the championship offers an accessible introduction to competitive driving. Racing Women supports drivers throughout the experience with professional coaching, testing and race-day guidance, whether they're joining for a single round or looking to compete throughout the season.

Getting the Season Underway at Blyton Park
Our first Javelin Sprint weekend of 2026 took place at Blyton Park, where Donna Marion and Chantelle Ryan joined Racing Women for the opening round.
Classic British weather brought wind and rain throughout the weekend, adding an extra challenge as both drivers adapted to changing track conditions.
Despite the weather, Donna and Chantelle demonstrated strong pace and control, working closely with instructors to improve their technique and build confidence behind the wheel.
Both drivers subsequently registered for the championship, taking another step in their motorsport journeys.
Learning, Racing and Building Confidence
For 18-year-old Donna Marion from Scotland, Blyton Park marked her first competitive racing experience on circuit.
"My first racing experience on track at the Javelin Sprint Series was the best weekend ever. The instructors were incredibly supportive, helping me get faster and adapt to changing conditions. I also had the chance to drive three different cars, including rear-wheel drive, which made it even more exciting."
— Donna Marion
Former Racing Women driver and Formula 3 racer Kirsty Mansell worked directly with both drivers, sharing her racing experience and providing guidance in the garage and on track.
With professional instructors supporting their development, the weekend offered more than competitive driving alone. It gave participants the opportunity to learn, assess their performance and build experience in a real motorsport environment.
Why Try a Sprint Race?
The Javelin Sprint format gives drivers the opportunity to compete against the clock through a series of timed runs, with the focus on delivering a clean, consistent and competitive performance.
For aspiring racers, it's a valuable introduction to the pressures of competition without immediately committing to a full circuit racing championship.
Racing Women's Sprint Race Experience combines preparation and professional coaching with the opportunity to take part in a competitive sprint event.
As Donna explained:
"I'd highly recommend it to anyone interested in racing. You get 1:1 coaching on the track day and strong support throughout race day. It's the perfect way to get started."
Chantelle also highlighted how the format supports longer-term driver development:
"You get proper 1:1 time with coaches, space to improve, and multiple timed runs to really work on your driving. It builds experience that puts you a step ahead when you move into racing."
Drivers can join Racing Women for individual rounds, allowing them to gain competitive experience at a level of commitment that suits their goals.

The Final Sprint Weekend of 2026: Oulton Park
Racing Women will conclude its 2026 Javelin Sprint season at Oulton Park on 23–24 October, with two participation options available.
Full Sprint Experience:
The complete weekend includes a full day of testing and professional coaching on Friday, followed by six timed runs during Saturday's Javelin Sprint event.
Sprint Sampler:
Designed exclusively for drivers who have never competed in a Javelin Sprint before, the Sprint Sampler offers a shorter introduction to the format.
Participants join a half-day of testing and preparation on Friday, followed by three timed runs on Saturday, experiencing the circuit and competitive sprint environment with a reduced commitment.
Both options provide an opportunity to develop driving skills, experience timed competition and benefit from Racing Women's support throughout the event.
