July 2026 | M-Sport, Dovenby Hall, Lake District

Twelve drivers, three days and a packed programme of driving, learning and professional development.

In July, M-Sport in the Lake District welcomed twelve Racing Women drivers for our Accelerator Camp, bringing together ambitious female drivers for an intensive experience designed to develop their skills both on and off the circuit.

With access to different race cars, professional coaching and M-Sport's facilities, the camp offered participants an opportunity to build their racecraft, gain technical knowledge and explore the demands of competitive motorsport.

Three Days of Driving and Development

Throughout the camp, drivers took part in practical sessions in Global Lights and Fiesta Junior race cars, alongside training in Racing Women cars on M-Sport's technical circuit.

The programme focused on racecraft, braking techniques, timed laps and learning the challenging track layout. With guidance from professional instructors, participants worked on their driving technique and developed the confidence to tackle more complex situations on track.

The experience went well beyond driving: off-track sessions covered sponsorship, media and technical aspects of motorsport, strength training and a behind-the-scenes tour of M-Sport's facilities.

Together, these activities gave drivers a broader understanding of the preparation, knowledge and commitment involved in building a racing career.

More Than Just Track Time

One of the highlights of the camp was seeing drivers support each other, share their experiences and build connections throughout the programme.

For Kalyani Pratheesh, Racing Women Global Competition Junior Winner, the experience also marked an important milestone in her development.

"Just arrived back in to Dubai after an amazing time at Racing Women’s Accelerator Camp.
I now have my ARDS junior race licence too!"

— Kalyani Pratheesh

Zoe Pope, a Racing Women Talent Management driver, highlighted the value of both the technical training and the relationships formed during the camp.

"The biggest thing I took away from the Accelerator Camp was the connections I made and the chance to tackle more complex situations on track. I was really proud of everyone for doing their best and achieving their ARDS licences."

She also reflected on what made the programme different:

"I'd definitely recommend the Accelerator Camp to other drivers because it's much more technical than a regular track day, so you develop so much faster and come away a more confident driver."

— Zoe Pope
