Racing Women Expands Sim Racing Pathway with AK Esports and Screen to Speed

A new partnership with AK Esports sim rig providers and Init Esports' Screen to Speed championship made its trackside debut at Donington Park, connecting simulator training, the Screen to Speed championship and real-world Racing Women opportunities.
Last weekend, Racing Women welcomed AK Esports to Donington Park for the final round of the Radical Cup UK Championship, marking the first activation of a new partnership focused on expanding Racing Women’s work in sim racing and driver development.
A competitive AK Esports simulator was installed in the Racing Women hospitality garage throughout the weekend, allowing Racing Women drivers to practise the Donington GP circuit virtually before transferring directly into the Valour Racing Radical SR3s on track.
For Nina Hahn, who has a strong background in sim racing alongside her real-world driving, the crossover between the two environments was particularly relevant.
“Sim racing is the main part of my training. I have a simulator at home where I can spend as much time as I want learning different tracks, trying different lines and testing different strategies. I think that really shows in the results on track — after testing at Donington, I was really happy with my lap times." — Nina Hahn, Racing Women driver

Even if you don’t have the opportunity to get out on track yet, you can learn so much about car control, finding the racing line and how to be quick. Then, when you do get that opportunity, you already have those foundations. When I first saw the Racing Women competition, I knew I wanted to enter. A few months later, here I am racing at Donington as one of the winners. Spending the last couple of years focused on sim training has definitely helped me get here.”

Bringing Screen to Speed trackside
The Donington activation also provided the first trackside platform for Racing Women’s recently announced partnership with Screen to Speed, the women-only sim racing championship operated by Init Esports.
Throughout the weekend, competitors, team members and spectators were invited to try the Radical SR3 around a virtual Donington GP circuit, setting fastest laps and building a competitive leaderboard inside the Racing Women garage.
Visitors could also learn more about Screen to Speed Season 2 and register for the championship, connecting an accessible virtual entry point with opportunities to gain real-world track experience through Racing Women.

From the simulator to the circuit
The partnership between Racing Women and Screen to Speed creates tangible real-world opportunities for women competing virtually.
Three registered Season 2 competitors will be selected to receive a funded Racing Women Discovery Day, including on-track driving, one-to-one coaching and dedicated performance analysis.
The overall Screen to Speed Season 2 winner will take the next step further, receiving a funded place at the week-long Racing Women Ice Driving Accelerator Camp in Sweden in February 2027.
Together, the partnerships with Screen to Speed and AK Esports form part of Racing Women’s growing approach to integrating simulator training with real-world driver development, providing another way for women to begin racing, develop their skills and work towards opportunities on track.
